Become a Sweetwater Ambassador!

Promote the Charm. Share the Story. Inspire the Visit.

Sweetwater Ambassadors are friendly, enthusiastic community members who help share the charm of our historic town with visitors and locals alike.  From welcoming guests at events to promoting local businesses and sharing Sweetwater's story, ambassadors play a key role in building community pride and enhancing tourism.

Who Can Apply?

  • Anyone 18 and older
  • Must live in or frequently visit Sweetwater, Tennessee
  • Must have an active and public social media account(s)   

Ambassador Expectations:

  • Make at least 1 feed post and 3-5 stories per month featuring Sweetwater (tag our social media)
  • Use designated hashtags: #visitsweetwatertn and #sweetwatertnambassador
  • Attend occasional assignments (events, ribbon cuttings, business openings, etc...)
  • Maintain a positive, respectful tone that reflects the values of our community
  • Follow us on all social platforms
  • Share our content
  • Create content to use on all platforms
  • Help promote our mural trail & parks/greenspaces
  • Wear our awesome swag on occasion
  • Don't use vulgar language, profanity, nudity (or partial nudity) in Sweetwater posts we are tagged in or that uses our hashtags

What You'll Get:

  • Official Sweetwater Ambassador welcome kit (with swag!)
  • Featured on Sweetwater TN's Tourism Social Media
  • Early invites to community events and behind-the-scenes experiences
  • Occasional exclusive discounts or giveaways from local businesses

If you love Sweetwater and want to get involved, we'd love to have you on the team! We are looking for individuals who want to give back and be part of something meaningful. You will even meet new friends along the way!
