2023 People's Choice BBQ Competition

As we gear up for Sweetwater and Monroe County's biggest festival of the year, we are excited to announce a new addition to this year's event, the People's Choice BBQ Competition.  This portion of the festival will provide a 1 oz sample of pulled pork BBQ from each competitor as well as a 1 oz side dish or dessert plus a drink to ticket holders.  To participate, you must pre-purchase a ticket on our website.  Tickets are $30 each and there are only 50 up for grabs, so don't wait to purchase yours!

Those who purchase a ticket can redeem their samples anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday May 6th at the Volunteer Federal Weiner Wagon, which will be located at the Main Street Marketplace in Downtown Sweetwater.  You will receive a ballot to vote at the time you pick up your samples.  This is a great way to taste a sampling from multiple BBQ vendors--and is one of the most requested festival additions we have ever received for an event!  Be sure to get your ticket today at our website here: https://blooms-bluegrass-bbq-festival.mozello.com/bbq-competition/
